Wendel is the Founder &
President of North Star Aviation, Inc. He is a Graduate
of Colorado Aero Tech, and is an A & P
IA with 23 years of experience. He is certified in Eddy
Current Inspections, PT6 heavy maintenance, Air Tractor
Factory Certified & Flight Safety Cheyenne I, II. Wendel
is also an FAA Aviation Safety Counselor. Wendel is
married to Wanda and they have two daughters,
twins, Julia & Jordan.

Wanda came to work for North Star in August 2008 as the Executive Assistant. She is married to Wendel and is the mother of Travis, Larissa, Julia and Jordan.

Samantha Rice |
Samantha came to work for North Star in March 2009 as the Office Manager. She brings with her 5 years of Office Experience. She was married to our Shop Foreman, Steve, on August 2, 2008.

Clifford Lakey |
Clifford is one of our A&P Mechanics.
He joined the North Star team on October 24, 2005. He is
a graduate of Western Nebraska Community College.

Steve is one of our A&P, IA Mechanics
and our Maintenance & Parts Manager.
Steve joined the North Star team on
September 20th, 2004. He is a graduate
of Westwood College of Technology. |

Kevin Hirons |
Kevin Hirons is one of our A & P
mechanics.
He joined the North Star team
on November 5, 2007.
He graduated from
Missionary Aviation Technology in 2005
for his A & P. |

Jeremy Crosby |
Jeremy is a home town Ulysses, KS guy! He attended Spartan College of Aeronautics and
Technology to receive his A & P certification. He joined the North Star team on August 14th, 2008. |

Jacob Nix |
Jacob came to work for North Star on September 17, 2009. He obtained his Associates of Aviation Science and A&P Certification at Spartan College
of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jacob also has an Associates of Applied Science from Seward County in Liberal, Kansas. |

Stella came to work on April 2009. She is in charge of Airport Morale. |
